CALENDAR

• Drop out due date: Tuesday, 10 September.
• Holidays: Monday, 16 September; and Monday, 18 November.
• Christmas holidays: from 20 December to 06 January.
• End of the course: Monday, 16 December (Second midterm exam check)
• Dates of issue of academic records: 08 and 09 January 2020.
• Assessment:
• 1st midterm exam (Units 7-9): 07 and 09 October.
• 2nd midterm exam (Units 10-12): 09 and 11 December.

ASSESSMENT

• Assessment of 5 skills:
• Reading (20%)
• Writing (20%)
• Use of English (20%)
• Listening (20%)
• Speaking (20%)
• The final grade is the average of the two exams.
• Minimum passing grade: 80 pts. together with 80% of attendance (=56 hours of class; the maximum number of absences permitted is 11 hours of class; but 5 consecutive absences are cause for dismissal)

OTHER ASPECTS

• The use of the Workbook is mainly at home. Be ready for its checking after each unit.
